Chris Moss, CPCU ARM AIC
President and Owner
With more than 25 years of commercial and catastrophe insurance and claims experience, Chris leads our services team. Chris has expertise in all lines of commercial property/casualty and management liability insurance issues on a global basis. Chris has significant experience managing day‐to‐day risk issues, solving exposure concerns, and deep knowledge of the mechanics of insurance policies. Chris rolls up his sleeves and solves mundane issues such as Certificate of Insurance compliance issues (from both owner or vendor perspective) and routinely provides boardroom updates on D&O insurance and other matters. His favorite projects relate to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and risk registers. He has been instrumental in favorably resolving coverage disputes on very large losses.
Chris’s formative years were with major property and casualty insurers managing pollution, asbestos, silica, lead and other mass toxic‐tort litigation. During his career, Chris has been involved in projects for several high-profile clients including the Panama Canal, The Palm Jumeirah and the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery. He also has experience serving as an independent insurance advisor to lenders for limited recourse financed projects, as well as dealing with insurance and reinsurance issues for technical risks constructed in developing nations.
Chris is a licensed risk manager, licensed all‐lines claims adjuster, and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations. Chris is a member of the Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC), and is a past president and current board member of the Society.
